George Daily Solo Show

Marybeth Heikes’ watercolors and acrylic collages will be exhibited in a solo show at the George Daily Auditorium lobby in Oskaloosa beginning April 4 and running through April 21. Approximately 20 pieces will be exhibited, including many of her new glassware still lifes.

Ms. Heikes has been painting in the still life genre for over 25 years. Her “Chairs in the Jungle” series has received numerous awards and has been displayed in various national exhibitions. Her newest series, “Glassware Patterns,” continues this tradition of carefully designed elements woven into stunning compositions with brilliant colors. She also paints acrylic collages in a highly textured surface with thick acrylics and big, bold shapes.

The reception will be April 12 from 2:00 until 3:30 p.m.
